Question : Sakhi Centres

(a) whether the Government had approved setting up of Sakhi Centres in West Bengal;
(b) if so, whether none of the said approved centres have been established;
(c) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) whether there has been a lack of cooperation from the State Government in establishment of Sakhi Centres in West Bengal and if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor?

(a) to (d) : Government of India has approved 23 One Stop Centres(OSCs), also known as Sakhi OSCs, in West Bengal in December, 2018. However, State Government of West Bengal has not established any One Stop Centre so far. No communication has been received from the State Government of West Bengal in this regard.
