(a) & (b): Yes, Madam. National Horticulture Mission (NHM), National Horticulture
Board (NHB), Technology Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture in North
Eastern and Himalayan States (TMNE), Agriculture and Processed Food Products
Export Development Authority (APEDA) and Ministry of Food Processing Industries
(MOFPI) provide assistance for setting up of cold storage/cold chain infrastructure.
(c): The State-wise and year-wise detail of fund released under the NHM Scheme for
period 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 (as per the latest report) for cold
storage component projects is at Annexure-I.
The State-wise and year-wise details of subsidy released under the NHB Scheme
for the period 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 (as per the latest report) for
construction/expansion/modernization of cold storages and storages for horticultural
products is at Annexure-II.
The State-wise and year-wise detail of financial progress under the TMNE
Scheme for the period 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 (as per latest report)
