(a) whether the Government proposes to set up a National Authority for Testing
to conduct a new entrance exam that would replace the two-tier Joint
Entrance Examination (JEE) main and advanced tests for entry into
engineering colleges;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor?
(c) whether the Government has taken steps to give the students the awareness
about this new format particularly to rural students; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?
