Question : Vaccination of Healthworkers

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government is aware that despite large number of registration by health workers for COVID vaccinations fewer numbers of health workers have been vaccinated in first phase in Kerala and other States/UTs;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) whether the lower number of vaccination is due to lack of proper arrangements in this regard and if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): As on 15th March 2021, around 81.09% of Health Care Workers (HCWs) registered on Co-WIN portal have been vaccinated for 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the country.
The State-wise details of COVID-19 vaccine first dose coverage among Health Care Workers against the registration on Co-WIN 2.0 portal is at Annexure.
(c): In view of 81.09% first dose COVID-19 vaccine coverage of Health Care Workers in the country, question does not arise about lack of proper arrangements for vaccination.
