(a, (b) & (c) As a part of Sagarmala Programme, more than 500 projects at an estimated cost of around 3.59 lakh crore have been identified for implementation during 2015 to 2035. Sagarmala projects includes projects from various categories such as modernisation of existing ports and terminals, new ports, terminals, RoRo& tourism jetties, enhancement of port connectivity, inland waterways, lighthouse tourism, industrialization around port, skill development, technology centres, etc. These projects are broadly classified into four pillars of Sagarmala. Implementation of the projects under Sagarmala is to be done by the Central Line Ministries, State Maritime Boards, Major Ports and SPV preferably through the private sector and through Public private Partnership (PPP) wherever feasible. The summary of project undertaken in Sagarmala Programme as per four pillars are as under:

Also, more than 400 investible projects worth Rs. 2.24 lac crores have been identified and showcased during the Maritime India Summit -2021 for investment to develop infrastructure, and further undertake operations and maintenance.
Ministry till date have funded 110 projects through grant-in aid assistance scheme of Sagarmala. Out of which 33 have been completed, 44 are under implementation stage and 33 projects are under development. For the completed and under implementation projects, Ministry had released funds of approx. Rs. 1400 Cr and planned Rs. 865 crores for completion of current inventory of projects.
Initiatives under Sagarmala have helped in increasing / unlocking capacity ports, resulting in lower turn-around time, lower dwell time, reduction in logistics costs and generation of direct and indirect employment.
