(a) whether the ZY and Z+ category security has been reviewed recently;
(b) if so, the number of persons included in such category;
(c) the total expenditure incurred during the last three years, year-wise; and
(d) the steps taken by the Government to reduce the expenditure?

(a) & (b): As per the Security Scheme the need for security and scale of security arrangements are reviewed periodically based on latest threat perception in each case on latest threat perception in each case and necessary changes in security are made as warranted . This is a continuing process.
(c): As per available information, the total expenditure incurred during the last three years by Delhi Police on security of protectees is as follows:-
YEAR AMOUNT (Rs. in crores)(d): The Security of the protectees is reviewed periodically by the Government and wherever possible security is withdrawn/reduced based on latest threat perciption.
