Training is to be offered in multiple modes, such as, workshops, online teacher development modules, etc. NEP also stipulates that each teacher is to participate in at least 50 hours of continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities every year.
(c) & (d) Recruitment is a continuous process. The vacancies keep arising due to retirement and additional requirements on account of enhanced students’ strength. The recruitment, service conditions and deployment of teacher educators comes under the purview of the concerned State/Union Territory (UT) Government.
