(a) the details of length of National Highways in the State of Karnataka, district-wise;
(b) whether the Government has received any proposals for upgradation of State Highways to National Highways in the State, if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government of Karnataka has submitted proposal for construction of bridges at number of Highways in the State, if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the number of proposals approved/pending with the Union Government?

(a) The details of length of National Highways in the State of Karnataka is placed at Annexure.
(b) Proposals have been received from the State Government for upgradation of more than 5000 km of State Highways. Out of these a length of 2100 km has been upgraded to NH standards.
(c) No proposal has been received from the State Government for construction of new bridge on National Highways in the State.
(d) Does not arise.
