(a) 27 sites from India are inscribed in the World Heritage List. Details are given at Annexure I.

(b)to(c)The Government of India proposes sites (Cultural and Natural) for their inclusion on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, after determining their Outstanding Universal Value (OUV) and as per criteria laid down in the Operational Guidelines of the World Heritage Convention.
