(a) whether the Government has elaborate plans to develop the Omkareshwar temple complex in line with other Jyotirlingas from the tourism point of view along with the steps taken by the Government in this regard;
(b) whether the Government has made any plans for the redevelopment and maintenance of the Narmada Ghats adjoining the Omkareshwar temple complex for the benefit of pilgrims; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and if not, the future plans of the Government in this regard?

(a) to (c): Yes, Sir. On the basis of the proposal received from the State Government of Madhya Pradesh the project “Development of Omkareshwar under PRASHAD Scheme” has been approved by the Ministry of Tourism in the year 2017-18. Approved cost of the project is Rs. 44.83 crore. The project includes the works for development of Gau Ghat at the Narmada River.
The execution of the project has been completed by the State Government in all respect.
