Question : National Common Mobility Card

(a) whether the Government has started implementing the National Common Mobility Card in the country;

(b) if so, the number of transport agencies in the country which are currently using this card;

(c) whether there is any plan to bring Delhi Metro under this scheme and if so, the timeline for the same; and

(d) whether the Government share the data generated through these national common mobility cards with other entities like police, private firms, etc. and if so, the details thereof?

(a) Yes Sir, National Common Mobility Card along with complete ecosystem consisting of Automatic Fare Collection system, Validation Terminal, Metro Gate and interface with Banking System were launched in March 2019.

(b) Eleven transport agencies are currently using National Common Mobility Card.

(c) A pilot project for implementation of National Common Mobility Card has been started at three stations of Delhi Metro.

(d) There is no such proposal.
