Question : CONVERSION OF SEA WATER INTO POTABLE WATER

(a) whether the Government have made any study to convert sea water into potable water with a view to augment drinking water supply;

(b) if so, the results thereof;

(c) whether any proposal is under consideration to desalanise the sea water so as to make it potable;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) if not, the reasons therefor?
