(a): State-wise details of cities and district headquarters covered under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) is enclosed at Annexure-I.
(b): State-wise details of budget allocation and expenditure during the last three years is enclosed at Annexure-II.
(c): State-wise details of Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) and expenditure incurred under NUHM so far is enclosed at Annexure-III.
(d): The five programs namely National Programme for Control of Blindness (NPCB), National Mental Health Programme (NMHP), National Programme for Health Care of the Elderly (NPHCE), National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) and National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardio-Vascular Diseases and Stroke (NPCDCS) have been merged into Flexipool for NCD from the FY 2015-16 onwards and thus information related to releases and expenditure for the last two FYs i.e., 2015-16 and 2016-17 are enclosed at Annexure-IV.
(e): National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) is a recent programme launched in 2013. The Ministry is in constant correspondence with the States/UTs with regard to implementation of the Programme. Various guidelines, modules, brochures, letters, etc. have been shared with the States/UTs. However, dedicated study with regard to NUHM has not been conducted so far.
