(a) whether the results of students of Kendriya Vidyalayas and
Navodaya Vidyalayas in CBSE examination during 2000-2001 in
general and in two-three regions in particular have been dismal;
(b) if so, the details in this regard and the reasons therefor;
and
(c) the action proposed to be taken in this regard?

(a) to (c) No, Sir. Generally, the result of Jawahar Navodaya
Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas for class X and XII in all the
regions is much above the average of CBSE affiliated Vidyalayas`
result. During the year 2000-2001 the results of X and XII class
of KVS and NVS in comparison to the average results of CBSE
affiliated schools are as under:-
