(a) whether the Government is having any data on the number of man days provided under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS);
(b) if so, the details of man day provided and expenditure incurred during each year of the last four years including current year, year-wise/State-wise/category-wise; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c): Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (Mahatma Gandhi NREGS) is a demand driven wage employment programme which provide for the enhancement of livelihood security of the households in rural areas of the country by providing at least one hundred days of guaranteed wage employment in every financial year to every household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work. State/UT-wise and category-wise detail of persondays generated and expenditure incurred by the States/UTs under Mahatma Gandhi NREGS during the last four financial years and current financial year 2021-22 (as on 06.08.2021) is given at Annexure.
