(a) whether the Union Government has received proposal for `Rain Basera`, from the Government of Gujarat at
Jamnagar,Rajkot,Porbandar,Bhavnagar,Surendranagar,Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Surat Bharuch and Vapi etc.;and
(b) if so, the progress made so far in this regard?

(a)&(b): Only one Night Shelter Scheme was sanctioned for Gujarat, pertaining to Bhavnagar Municipal
Corporation by Government of India, but no funds were transferred to it since the Night Shelter Scheme was
transferred to State Sector with effect from 1.4.2005.
