(a) whether the Government propose to enact a new legislation
regarding safety in coal mines in the country;
(b) if so, whether the Government have undertaken any assessment
of coal mines regulations in developed countries; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and the steps taken by the
Government to adopt latest coal mining technique and safety measures
as are being adopted by various other countries?
