Question : Road Widening Projects on NH-730

(a) the time by which the widening of Basti to Pilibhit road via Bahraich-Lakhimpur under National Highway (NH)- 730 is proposed to be completed;

(b) whether the clearance from forest department is still pending for some sections of the said project;

(c) if so, the details thereof along with the time by which the said clearance is likely to be obtained;

(d) the present status of work on the said highway, section-wise; and

(e) the time limit set for completion of the project?

(a) The widening/improvement of Basti to Pilibhit section of NH-730 and NH-233 is taken up in section/stretches, as detailed in Annexure. The works are likely to be completed by September, 2021.

(d) & (e) The section-wise status of works on Basti-Pilibhit stretch of NH-730 and NH-233 along with likely date of completion are Annexed.
