(a) whether the Government of Andhra Pradesh has urged the Union Government to extend central assistance under various Centrally sponsored agricultural schemes;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the Central assistance provided to the State during the last three years?

(a) & (b): Yes, Sir. During the year 2000/2001 the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has proprosed an amount of Rs.50 crores under various Centrally Sponsored Schemes to be included under the Macro Management Mode. In addition State Government has sought an additional central assistance of Rs. 5.11 crores under the Oilseeds Production Programme to face the crop losses arising from the drought of this year.

(c) The following amounts were released to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for development of agriculture during the last three years:-
