Question : Centrally Sponsored Schemes

a) the details of Centrally Sponsored Schemes being implemented by the Ministry in the State of Telangana during the last five years and the current year, year, district and scheme-wise;
b) the details of amount sanctioned, approved, released and spent on each of the above schemes during the said period in Telangana;
c) the details of physical targets set and achieved during the said period; and
d) whether any target has not been achieved and, if so, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (d): During the last five years, Ministry of Labour and Employment was implementing three Centrally Sponsored Schemes namely National Career Service (NCS), Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana (PMRPY), and Coaching and Guidance for SC, ST and Other Backward Classes (OBCs). The PMRPY scheme has been closed w.e.f. 31.03.2022.
The State/UT wise funds are released under the NCS scheme only. The amount approved, released and utilized under the NCS scheme since 2014-15 till 30.06.2022 in the State of Telangana is Rs. 827.10 lakh, Rs. 665.03 lakh and Rs. 360.88 lakh, respectively.

Services provided under NCS scheme are free and voluntary. All efforts are made to encourage all the stake holders including jobseekers and employers to make maximum use of the services provided by NCS. The main target is to increase the utilization of these services. The details of the achievement of NCS scheme during the last five years and the current year in the State of Telangana is as under:
