Question : WORLD BANK REPORT



(a) whether the World Bank in a report, ``Social Protection for a Changing India`` reviewed eleven Centrally sponsored anti-poverty schemes and found that only 40% of the targeted poor are benefiting from the schemes;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the said report confirmed the vast leakages and structural inefficiencies in delivery mechanism;

(d) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto;

(e) whether there are large inter-State differences in spending and the outcomes; and

(f) if so, the steps taken by the Government in this regard?
