Question : Jaan Hai to Jahan Hai Campaign

(a) whether a nation-wide awareness campaign “JaanHai to Jahan Hai” has been started to create awareness regarding corona vaccination in rural and remote areas of the country and to supress and stop rumors and apprehensions being spread in respect of existing vaccination campaign by some vested interests and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether any monitoring committee has been constituted in this regard and if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether any action has been taken towards people who were found guilty under this campaign; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d) The Ministry has started an awareness campaign ‘Jaan Hai To Jahan Hai’ on COVID-19 vaccination to prevent apprehensions and rumours, under which various organizations associated with the Ministry like State Waqf Boards, State Haj Committees, State Channelizing Agencies and
Programme Implementing Agencies (PIAs) empanelled in the Ministry for the implementation of various schemes were urged to reach out to the people
and work towards spreading awareness and getting rid of the vaccine hesitancy amongst the local communities. The Ministry is also reaching out
to more than 80 lakh beneficiaries of its various schemes and highlighting the benefits of vaccination to them.
In addition to the above, the Ministry has also utilized the social media platforms to spread awareness on vaccination through various renowned personalities from the field of social, cultural and religion as influencers.
The details of the vaccines administered to the citizens is available in public domain on COWIN platform at www.cowin.gov.infor reference. The details are monitored centrally by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
