Question : SCHEMES UNDER CAPART

(a) the names of schemes approved by Council for Advancement of People`s Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) for various States including Andhra Pradesh during thelast three years and the current year, State/year-wise;

(b) the work and fields to which these schemes are related;

(c) whether the said schemes have been made operational and if not, the reasons therefor;

(d) whether the Government is monitoring the work of various Non- Governmental organisations through which said schemes are being undertaken; and

(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a)& (b) Details of schemes (projects) approved by Council for Advancement of People`s Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) for various States includingAndhra Pradesh during the last three years and the current year, State/year-wise areenclosed at Annexure.

(c) Most of the schemes (projects) could not be made operational as the funds were not released, due to decision regarding stoppage of funding, in view of the proposed restructuring process of CAPART.

(d) Schemes (Projects) which had been made operational were monitored by CAPART as per laid down procedures.

(e) Does not arise in view of (d) above.
