Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:

(a) the names of the countries which have been listed to be unsafe to visit for the purpose of tourism as per the Government;

(b) the number of Government advisories issued in this regard; and

(c) the help/assistance provided to the citizens in case they become victims of terrorism?

(a) Travel Advisories have been issued with respect to travel of Indian nationals to Yemen, Iraq, Libya, Syria and South Sudan due to the prevalent security situation in those countries.

(c) Our Missions render all possible help to Indian nationals in distress. The Government continues to keep a close watch on developments in various countries, issue advisories, whenever required, and engage the authorities in those countries to enable safe evacuation of Indian nationals from there, if necessary.
