(a) the criteria/guidelines for establishing ''Defence Parks'' in the country under Public Private Partnership (PPP) model or under Foreign Direct Investment (FDI);
(b) whether the Government has received any proposal to establish ''Defence Parks'' under the FDI policy;

(d) whether land has been identified to establish ''Defence Parks'' in the country; and

(a) to (e): Under Modified Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme (MIIUS) of Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, one project at Kinfra Defence Park, Palakkad (Kerala) with project cost of Rs.131.35 crore including central grant of Rs. 50.00 crore has been sanctioned on 28.3.2016. The project is under implementation and 1st installment of central grant of Rs. 15.00 crore has been provided to the State Implementing Agency (SIA). State Implementation Agencies such as State Industrial Development Corporations can apply for funding under the Modified IIUS. Under the said scheme, the projects proposals are being accepted from the State Government and Implemented by State Implementing Agencies (SIAs) of the State Government.
