(a): The government proposes to provide telephone facility in all the villages of the country, including Bulsar district of Gujarat by March, 2002 with the joint efforts of private fixed service providers.
(b) & (c): 37 villages are proposed to be provided with telephone facility by the Department by 31st March, 2001 in Bulsar district of Gujarat as per details given in the annexure. Remaining villages are planned to be covered by private fixed service provider.
