(a) The budgetary allocation lapsed/surrendered by the Central Public Works
Department (CPWD) during each of the last three years and the reasons therefor;
(b) whether surrender/diversion of funds has adversely affected upgradation of
the Government quarters;
(c) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto;
(d) the details of the CPWD projects that are still pending alongwith the
reasons therefor; and
(e) the steps taken to strengthen the monitoring mechanism of the projects
implementation?
