(a) & (b): Government has seen media reports that Prime Minister of Pakistan during
a meeting with the Palestinian President in Feb 2010 said that people of Palestine and
Kashmir are fighting for their right of self-determination and Pakistan remains committed
to peaceful settlement of all issues-be it the Palestine or Kashmir-through peaceful means
and dialogue.
The entire state of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India by virtue of its
accession to India in 1947. The Government is committed to resolving all issues with Pakistan
through peaceful negotiations and bilateral dialogue.
