(a) & (b)Setting up of a Central University is a continuous process. There is a Central University at Kishangarh, Rajasthan beside other institutions of higher education like Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jaipur and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Udaipur which also cater to the need of tribal students. The Central Government has already established two Central Tribal Universities namely the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak and Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh, Vizianagram with a view to provide avenues of higher education and research facilities primarily for the tribal population of the country. However, at present there is no proposal under consideration in the Ministry for setting up of a Central Tribal University in the State of Rajasthan. In order to attract foreign students to Indian higher educational institutions, the Government is running Study in India scheme. In addition, research collaboration between Indian and foreign institutions are promoted under SPARC (Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration).
