(a) whether Wireless Local Loop (WLL) services have been
provided to the remote areas in the country;
(b) if so, the extent to which Orissa has been covered by WLL
services;
(c) whether the remote areas in the KBK districts have been
provided with such services;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

(b) Out of 120 Short Distance Charging Areas (SDCAs) in
Orissa Telecom Circle, 102 SDCAs have been covered by WLL
service.
(c) Yes, Sir.

(BTSs) in KBK district as on 30-11-2005 are given below:
