MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOUSING & URBAN POVERTY ALLEVIATION ( KUMARI SELJA )

(a)&(b): No, Sir. There is no proposal for any scheme called Rajiv Ratna Awas Yojana at present. The Government of India launched the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) in December, 2005 providing for construction of houses and infrastructure amenities to the urban poor under Basic Services to the Urban Poor (BSUP) for 63 identified cities/towns and under Integrated Housing and Slum Development Programme (IHSDP) for other cities/towns. However, as informed, Government of NCT of Delhi has launched a programme for housing poor known as Rajiv Ratna Awas Yojana.
