(a) whether the Government has any proposal to develop historical Dandi March Route in Gujarat led by Mahatma Gandhi in 1930 from tourism point of view; and
(b) if so, the details thereof alongwith assistance proposed to be provided to the State Government during the current year for the purpose?

(a): Identification of new tourist places/spots is a continuous process. Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the State Governments identifies such places of tourist interest and based on project proposals from the States offers financial assistance for development of their infrastructure.
(b): No such proposal has been received from the State Government of Gujarat in this regard.
