(a) whether the Government of Andhra Pradesh has been pressing for some time seeking permission to conduct a sound and light show at 1000-Pillared temple in Warrangal;
(b) if so, whether necessary permission has been accorded for the purpose;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the time by which the proposal of the Andhra Pradesh Government is likely to be cleared?

(c) Archaeological Survey of India cannot spare any space towards installation of transformer and construction of control room in view of on going work of reconstruction of Kalyana Mandapa and also repairs to Rudreswara temple.
(d) After the repairs are completed, a decision will be taken on the proposal, keeping the need to continue the rituals and space constraints in view.
