(a) whether the Ministry of Defence has received any proposal from
the Government of Karnataka in 2003 for development of storm water
drainage system (SEDS);
(b) if so, the reasons for not giving clearance to the said
proposal; and
(c) the time by which the proposal is likely to be cleared?

(a) Yes, Sir.
(b) Local Military Authorities had requested the Bangalore
Mahanagar Palika (BMP) to submit a detailed proposal in this regard.
However, the same is yet to be received from BMP.
(c) The request of the Government of Karnataka would be considered
after the detailed and final proposal is received from BMP.
