(a) whether the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has set up `Centres
of Excellence` in various cities in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof alongwith its functions and the locations; and
(c) if not, the time by which these centres are likely to be opened?

(a) to (c) The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has, in principle,
decided to set up Centres of Excellence in certain places. No Centre of Excellence
has been set up by the Institute so far. No time frame for the purpose has been
fixed as yet.
