Question : Shortcomings in NMDC

(a) whether several shortcomings have been found out in the lease of deposit No. 13 given by the National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC) Bacheli, Chhattisgarh;

(b) the time upto which the mine is given to private sector on lease; and

(c) the details of conditions where laxity has been reflected in the said lease?

(a) No, Sir.

(b) The mine has not been leased out to any private sector and the lease is in the name of NMDC-CMDC Limited (NCL).

(c) Does not arise in view of above.
