(a)whether the Government has initiated the All-India Migrant Workers Survey;
(b)if so, the details thereof including the expected timeline of completion;
(c)if not, the reasons therefor;
(d)whether the Government will collect detailed disaggregated data through the survey; and
(e)if so, the details of categories and themes along which data will be collected, including gender, community, SC/ST/OBC status and so on?

(a) to (e): Labour Bureau, an attached office of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, has been entrusted with the task of conducting the All India Survey on Migrant workers.
An Expert Group has been constituted by the Government of India on 09th September, 2020 to examine and finalize the schedules, sampling design and other technical details of the aforesaid survey being conducted by Labour Bureau.
