(a) the number of voluntary agencies for Rural Development under Council of
Advancement of People`s Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) in Andaman
& Nicobar Islands;
(b) the details of specific programmes undertaken under CAPART during the last
three years; and
(c) the extent to which it has helped to curb rural unemployment ?

(a) to (c) One Voluntary Organisation (VO) viz. Vivekananda Smriti Samiti Kollinpur,
PO - Haerbatabadi, District Andaman had sent a project proposal to CAPART during the
last three years (i.e. on 20-03-2002) and the same was rejected as it was not in
CAPART`s prescribed format.
