(a) As on 4th February 2021, 13.74 crore cattle and buffaloes have been identified using 12 digit unique identification number ear tags and their data uploaded on Information Network for Animal Productivity and Health (INAPH) data base under the scheme National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP).
(b) Details on number of animals registered in Wardha, Amravati in the State of Maharashtra, Katihar in the State of Bihar and Pratapgarh in the State of Uttar Pradesh as on 4th February 2021 is as under:

(c) Under National Animal Disease Control Programme identification of animals has been extended to all bovine animals as well as sheep, goat and pigs numbering total 53.5 crore.
