(a) the number of animals registered in the country under animal UID/Pashu Aadhaar Yojana and Animal Data Base Scheme in the country;
(b) the number of animals registered in Wardha, Amravati in the State of Maharashtra, Katihar in the State of Bihar and Pratapgarh in the State of Uttar Pradesh; and
(c) whether the Government has any scheme for expansion of this scheme and if so, the details thereof?

(a) As on 4th February 2021, 13.74 crore cattle and buffaloes have been identified using 12 digit unique identification number ear tags and their data uploaded on Information Network for Animal Productivity and Health (INAPH) data base under the scheme National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP).
(b) Details on number of animals registered in Wardha, Amravati in the State of Maharashtra, Katihar in the State of Bihar and Pratapgarh in the State of Uttar Pradesh as on 4th February 2021 is as under:
