(a) to (c): Scientists from Jawahar Lal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research and Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore have found that Triclosan is effective against plasmodium falciparum (Human Cerebral Malaria). At this stage, it is at the laboratory experimental level. This research is to go through various stages like toxicological studies and clinical trials etc. in human before giving it practical shape for consumer benefits throughout the World.
