(a) whether the Government has constructed adequate infrastructure to facilitate tourism in Kartarpur Sahib Corridor;
(b) the details of the number of people the Government expects will visit the corridor;
(c) whether the Government has taken adequate security measures keeping in view high-profile visits to the corridor; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a): Ministry of Tourism under Swadesh Darshan Scheme provides financial assistance to State Governments/UT Administrations/ Central Agencies for development of tourism infrastructure and facilities in the country. The projects under the scheme are identified for development in consultation with the State Governments/Union Territory Administrations and are sanctioned subject to availability of funds, submission of suitable Detailed Project Reports, adherence to scheme guidelines and utilization of funds released earlier.
This Ministry has sanctioned a project for Rs.99.95 crore during 2018-19 for Development of Anandpur Sahib – Fatehgarh Sahib – Chamkaur Sahib – Ferozpur – Amritsar – Khatkar Kalan – Kalanour - Patiala in Punjab under Heritage Circuit Theme of Swadesh Darshan Scheme. The site Kartarpur Sahib Corridor is not included in this project.
