Question : Surplus Land with CPSUs

(a) the details of surplus land available with the various Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) under the administrative control of the Ministry, CPSU-wise;
(b) whether the Government has any proposal to utilise the surplus land available with the CPSUs and if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether any proposal is being considered by the Government to set up a Public Sector Land Development Authority (PSLDA) to identify the excess land with the CPSUs; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a): Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) under the administrative control of this Ministry have not reported any surplus land.

(b): Does not arise.

(c) & (d): Government has taken no decision to set up Public Sector Land Development Authority.
