Question : COMMITTEE ON ALL INDIA SERVICES



(a) whether a Committee has been consitituted to receive representations regarding cases of genuine hardships from officers of All India Services affected by allocations to the State cadres of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh;

(b) if so, whether any representation has been received by the said Committee from officers belonging to the Indian Police Service;

(c) whether any representation in regard to incorrect inclusion of officers belonging to the OBC category in general category has also been received;

(d) if so, the details thereof;

(e) if so, the action taken/proposed to be taken in this regard; and

(f) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): The Central Govt. has constituted a Committee to examine the cases of genuine hardship of individual officers and other related issues arising out of the allocation of All India Services officers.

(d)to(f): Yes, Sir. The representations received are to be considered by the Committee referred in reply to part (a) above.
