Question : PURCHASE OF AIRCRAFT BY AIR INDIA

(a) the total number of aircrafts purchased or taken on lease by Air India during the last three years and the current year;

(b) the details of the expenditure incurred on purchase of these aircrafts along with the name of the company from which these aircraft were purchased;

(c) whether any objections were raised on purchase of these aircraft and if so, the details thereof along with the reasons therefor; and

(d) the total amount spent on maintenance of these aircraft by Air India during the said period?
