(a) whether for identification and ensuring empowerment of women farmers, there is a proposal for granting joint lease for both residential and agricultural land under the National Policy for farmers;
(b) if so, the number of joint lease made as per this policy;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) whether the name of such schemes and rights of women in the same along with the number of women benefited therefrom?

(a) to (d): The Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development has reported that it does not have any National Policy for Farmers on land leasing and the data on leasing of agricultural and residential land is not maintained at Central Level.
Land and its management falls under the legislative and administrative jurisdiction of States (as provided in Entry 18 and Entry 45 of List II (State List of the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution)). The decision for granting of joint lease for both residential and agricultural land is to be taken by the States under the relevant State Government laws.
