Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) the number of adolescent friendly health clinics set up across the country, State/UT-wise and district wise;
(b) the number of counsellors recruited in the clinics, State/UT-wise, particularly in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh; and
(c) whether the Government proposes to set up such clinics in Primary Health Centres of villages, if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): The State/UT-wise number of Adolescent Friendly Health Clinics (AFHCs) and the number of dedicated Adolescent Health Counsellors posted at the AFHCs, is placed at Annexure.
District-wise data on AFHC is not maintained centrally.
Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh has only 1 (one) Adolescent Health Counsellor in position.
(c): As per the guidelines, under Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK), the Adolescent Friendly Health Clinics are established at the District and Block level only
However, the healthcare providers at lower level health facilities including Primary Health Centres are trained in providing adolescent friendly health services.
