The Govt. of NCT of Delhi issued a Notification for acquiring the land and property under Land Acquisition Act, 1894 on 17th April 1997. The owners of the property have filed two civil writ petitions during December 1997 & January 1998, in the Delhi High Court challenging the acquisition proceedings.
