Question : HYDERABAD-LONDON FLIGHT



(a) whether British Airways is contemplating to operate direct flights from Hyderabad to London in near future;

(b) the number of flights British Airways is operating from India at present with its point of origin;

(c) other details in this regard;

(d) whether the State Government of Andhra Pradesh have requested to introduce/restore flights from Hyderabad to various destinations in the Gulf region; and

(e) if so, the details of such requests?

(a),(b)and(c): British Airways is presently operating a total of 18 services/week from Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai to London deploying a total of 5898 seats. Hyderabad is not presently available as a point of call to the British Airways.
(d)and(e): Requests have been received from Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time for introduction/restoration of flights from Hyderabad to various destinations in Gulf such as Dubai, Riyadh, Dammam, Muscat, Baharin, Kuwait etc.
