(a) whether the Government has taken any steps for direct transfer of subsidy without any banking process for solar equipments including solar water heaters;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the subsidy provided for solar water heaters during each of the last three years and the current year to various States including Chhattisgarh, State-wise?

(a) and (b): Government is disbursing subsidy mainly through State Nodal Agencies (SNA). Subsidy for some products are being disbursed through NABARD. So far, no subsidy is directly being provided to beneficiaries for solar equipments. The subsidy for solar water heaters has been discontinued with effect from 01.10.2014.
(c): State-wise details of subsidy provided for solar water heaters during each of the last three years and the current year to various States (to cover pending payments) including Chhattisgarh are given at Annexure.
