(a): whether the Government proposes to implement those schemes that are currently running under the Prime Minister`s Rozgar Yojana through the educated/unemployed youth in the country; and
(b): if so, the time by which these are likely to be implemented?

(a)&(b): The Ministry of Agro & Rural Industries is already
implementing a Self Employment Scheme by the name of `Prime
Minister Rozgar Yojana` (PMRY) since 2nd October, 1993. The
educated unemployed youth fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid
down under the scheme are eligible for assistance under the
scheme. PMRY has been approved for continuance during the Xth
Plan period with a target of assisting 11 lakh educated unemployed
youth during the plan period.
